about

Up Sligo (trad.) / The Old Grey Goose (trad.) / The Pathway to the Well (trad.)

A tip of the hat to Irish fiddle masters old and new: Michael Coleman recorded Up Sligo and The Old Grey Goose in New York City in the 1920’s, while The Pathway to the Well was recorded by Hugh Gillespe in 1938. I learned these mostly from newer recordings by Brian Conway, John Carty, and Declan Folan.
